Green Day

Green Day es una banda estadounidense de Punk rock, originaria de Berkeley, California. Formada en 1989, fueron uno de los impulsores de la segunda oleada del punk, tras los años 80’s, cuando grabaron en el año de 1994 el álbum Dookie, su tercer disco, y ha sido una de las bandas de punk rock con más influencia.

Hoy la banda lleva vendidos más de 34 millones de discos en todo el mundo. Está formada por Billie Joe Armstrong (voz y guitarra), Mike Dirnt (bajo y coros) y Tré Cool(batería). Los miembros de apoyo son Jason White (guitarra), Jason Freese (teclado y saxofón),Ronnie Blake (trompeta) y Mike Pelino(guitarra)
