Machine Head

Fue en 1992 cuando los guitarristasRobert Flynn (ex Vio-Lence), Logan Mader, el bajista Adam Duce y el batería Chris Kontos fundaron Machine Head. Poco tiene que ver el nombre del grupo con el disco del mismo nombre de Deep Purple. Machine Head desde entonces ha sido una de las bandas que más ha influenciado en la escena del metal americano. Sus melodías contundentes y sus letras llenas de fuerza y mensaje son las principales características del grupo.

Slipknot

Slipknot es un grupo de metal formado en Des Moines, en el estado de Iowa, Estados Unidos, caracterizados por el hecho de que cada uno de los integrantes usa una máscara.

Primeros años

Las primeras canciones de Slipknot comenzarón a crearse en el año 1993. Entonces el proyecto se llamó «The Pale Ones», «Pyg system», y «Meld» antes de llamarse Slipknot. Muchas de las canciones de Mate.Feed.Kill.Repeat y algunas agregadas a otros discos más tarde fueron escritas durante este tiempo. Shawn Crahan era el baterista en ese tiempo, antes de la llegada de Joey Jordison.
