Jimmy Eat World

Jimmy Eat World es una banda estadounidense de rock alternativo formada en 1994 en Mesa, Arizona.

Jimmy Eat World lo formaron en sus inicios Jim Adkins, Zach Lind (amigos desde la guardería) Tom Linton y Mitch Porter. El nombre de la banda no hace referencia a Jim Adkins, sino a uno de los hermanos de Tom Linton. Éste y sus hermanos menores, Jimmy y Ed, estaban siempre peleándose cuando eran pequeños. Jimmy, que era alto y fuerte, siempre solía ganar. Su hermano Ed dibujó a Jimmy comiéndose el mundo en referencia a un capítulo de la serie de dibujos animados Tiny Toon.

Scott y Jon (actual Bajista y Guitarrista), contando con solo 18 años de edad, empezaron a darle vueltas a la cabeza todo el día y decidieron crear una banda. Ambos se tomaron este plan muy en serio y fueron en busca de un baterista.

Está formada por Travis Barker y Mark Hoppus (baterista y bajista de blink-182, respectivamente) junto con Shane Gallagher y Craig Fairbaugh. Su nombre se debe al código de marcado internacional que se utiliza en Inglaterra. Así mismo el nombre surgió mientas Mark y Travis estaban en dicho país durante la última gira de blink.

Fenix TX

La banda integrada por Willie Salazar (vocal), Damon Delapaz (batería), Adam Lewis (bajo) y Chris Lewis (guitarra) nació en el año de 1995 con el nombre de «Riverfenix» en la parte norte de Houston, Texas. En busca de una mejor y mas emocionante trabajo del que tenian en Gunspoint Mall y aburridos de su vida cotidiana, los tres miembros originales decidieron alejarse del camino del que la mayoría de sus vecinos ghetto habían seguido. Dejando a un lado todo, empacaron sus instrumentos y formaron esta banda.
